A leading insurance company and Lloyd’s Syndicate is looking to hire an Executive within Distribution Strategy & Business Development to join their Wholesale team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their insurance career who is looking to gain exposure to senior stakeholders, broker relationships, and strategic growth initiatives within the London Market.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with senior leadership, supporting the development and execution of distribution strategy while building strong relationships with key broker partners.
This role offers excellent visibility across underwriting teams and the chance to contribute to business growth initiatives across multiple lines and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior stakeholders with management information, reporting, and meeting coordination
- Build and develop relationships with major broker partners
- Assist in delivering strategy to increase profile and engagement across the broker market
- Facilitate broker & underwriter meetings, including preparation of materials and follow-ups
- Act as a central contact point for broker enquiries and internal coordination
- Maintain and analyse GWP and broker performance data
- Support business development initiatives, including new markets, products, and distribution channels
- Contribute to projects, events, and strategic initiatives across the Wholesale division
What They’re Looking For
- Experience within the insurance market (London Market exposure is highly desirable)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working with data and producing insights
- Proactive, relationship-driven, and commercially aware
