The role
We are seeking a driven Strategic Planning Manager to lead our planning function and drive business performance through strategic insights and robust planning processes. This is a high-impact role, ideal for a professional with a strong analytical background.
This is a great opportunity for someone currently in the insurance industry or someone who is consulting with Insurers and looking for an in house role.
Key accountabilities
- Act as the conduit between commercial and finance teams, facilitating effective communication and alignment on strategic priorities
- Develop and present strategic insights and commercial narratives to senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity and alignment on growth plans
- Partnering with underwriters, actuaries, and senior stakeholders to drive premium planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
- Project manage and coordinate the premium planning cycle, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and alignment with business priorities
- Monitor and report on the progress of growth plans and revising plans as necessary to achieve business objectives
- Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes, collaborating with developers and other stakeholders
Skills & experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- 4+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Transaction Services or a similar analytical and strategic environment
